Happy New Year, Hazel!

A cartoon earth is in the middle of the picture. Surrounding it, are images of Chinese Lanterns and dumplings, a bowl of pelau, a cake, and fireworks. In the foreground, there is a smiling young girl with dark skin and hair.
Hazel is excited to share her New Years traditions with her new friends, but she gets confused when she finds out they don't all celebrate New Years at the same time. This story explores the idea that cultural traditions from around the world can still share the same underlying message and purpose.
