Lost on Pine Mountain
En español: Perdidos en Monte Pinos
Two young travelers, must confront their differences as their search for water becomes increasingly desperate. This story is very loosely an homage to Cervantes' Don Quixote, set In the arid mountains of southern California, during the Gold Rush. While it has some elements of historical fiction, the context of the Gold Rush plays a minor role in this story -- it is mostly a story about anger, forgiveness, humor, and luck.
