We're always interested to see what's resonating with our library partners, so we took a look at the stories you shared last year to see what we could learn.
The LibraryCall stories most frequently scheduled last year were:
Blancanieves (Snow White)
Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood)
El cocodrilo y el mono (The Crocodile and the Monkey)
If you were to continue scrolling down our list of 179 stories, you would see most of our Spanish language titles represented in the top half. That didn’t surprise us. We know that many of our customers record their own stories in English but need some support to offer Spanish language storylines. We’re glad we can help provide more access to stories in Spanish, and the addition of two new Spanish Language Content Developers last year has allowed us to make faster progress. We are also in the process of enhancing some of our older Spanish language stories with higher-quality recordings, edits, and covers. Special thanks to our Spanish Content Developers, Lorena and Stephaney!
Other popular themes were well-known fairytales/folktales and seasonal/holiday stories. We will continue to publish more of those stories, filling in where we still have gaps. Longer stories and stories for older children/teens are scheduled less frequently, which is something we noticed and responded to last year.
What stories would you like us to add in 2023? We'd love your feedback!
