You may have noticed that some of the recordings featured in the Storytime Commons include charming British accents, original music, and sound effects. Did the LibraryCall readers get a dialect coach? Nope! LibraryCall has partnered with London-based Storynory.com, one of the largest sources of free and well-loved children’s audiobooks online. Through this partnership, we have licensed and made available to you 20 classic and original stories performed by professional actors. We most recently added three Storynory originals about an unwilling space traveler named Astropup.
To find the full list of Storynory titles, log into the LibraryCall Manager, click “Commons” at the top of the page, and type in “Storynory” as a search term.
“Other Collections” Bug Fixed
Thanks to Rebecca from Chino Valley for letting us know that the “Other Collections” link in the LibraryCall Manager was not functioning properly. We’ve got that working now, so if you’d like to share any trivia, public domain radio shows, or other non-story content you create, click “Share to Commons” when you add a recording and we’ll add it!
